I'm Bernadine Blom a registered dietitian & South African certified lactation consultant based in Midstream, Gauteng. As a dietitian, I believe optimal nutrition is important during all stages of life! I'm passionate about optimal nutrition for both mother and baby during the first 1000 days and beyond. I'm able to provide support to first-time mothers to ensure optimal nutrition during pregnancy, help mothers prepare for breastfeeding and provide guidance on good complementary feeding when starting solids. I'm also able to provide further support to a mother that is experiencing breastfeeding difficulty. I'm here to empower you in improving your health.

Initial Individual Consultation

During the 60-80 minute initial consultation, your dietitian will ask you several questions to better understand your goals. You will have a better understanding of your body composition and will be provided with dietary guidelines specific to your goals.

A second consultation is scheduled after 7 days following your initial consultation.
During this consultation, you'll receive a copy of your meal plan & receive education on portion sizing.
*An individualized meal plan will be provided during the second consultation if requested.
Meal Plan

An individualized meal plan can help you reach your nutrition goals.
It provides a portion size guide based on your requirements. The aim is to teach you about healthy eating aspects and not provide you with a set 7-day menu.
*The meal plan isn't claimable from medical aid and will be provided in the second consultation to ensure optimal implementation.
